A beautiful and delightful home. Bedrooms are very clean, comfortable and has everything that you would want with extra touches. The breakfasts each morning are delicious, with a wide variety of choice all freshly cooked. Susie is a charming hostess and is very warm, friendly and helpful. The location is also very good with easy access to the town centre, restaurants and local attractions.

The breakfasts were absolutely scrumptious and our preferences were beautifully catered for. They set us up magnificently for our packed 2-day memorable visit to Sherborne. Susie was incredibly gracious to share her heavenly home with us. The Blue Room was everything I could have ever wished for in luxury, cleanliness and fun! Clare Cottage is centrally positioned and therefore very easy to get around on foot. THANK YOU VERY MUCH INDEED SUSIE.

Absolutely everything has been thought out very carefully at Clare Cottage. Susie could not have been more welcoming and went out of her way to make sure our stay was comfortable. The room is absolutely beautiful very clean and very comfortable. I have never stayed in a better B&B ever thank you.

The host Susie was most welcoming and we felt at home during our stay. The room was spacious and very clean with a lovely free standing bath. The breakfast was certainly a highlight with fresh fruit/cereal and a delicious hot breakfast with options.

Clare Cottage is in a quiet location but situated very close to the Abbey, pubs, restaurants, shops and a short pleasant walk to the lovely castle. Susie is a very welcoming host ,very helpful and provided lots of useful information. We stayed in the garden room which was cool and airy even in this hot spell. We had the best breakfast that we have ever had in a b& b or hotel, made of the local produce and so tasty.

The breakfast was excellent. It was just a short walk into town for the restaurants and was in easy reach of Sherborne Castle and the Abbey.

This is an exceptional B&B- so comfortable (excellent beds and Egyptian Cotton linen), lovely decor, tea/coffee in our room, our own spotless bathroom with plenty of hot water. Susie is a lovely host and prepared the most delicious breakfast. Clare’s Cottage is quiet and yet only a couple of minutes walk from the center of Sherborne. Highly recommend.

Breakfast was 5 star hotel level, if not better. Large room and bathroom. Lovely furnishings. Very relaxing. Susie the owner is great. Shower is wonderful. The whole experience was quite exceptional. So much thought and effort has gone into creating a wonderful B&B.

Breakfasts were wonderful! Susie is the most welcoming host and the room was exquisite. Location, within 2 minutes walk from the delightful Sherborne town centre with its varied Pubs and restaurants, is just perfect.

Excellent breakfast. Location perfect (as we were attending a concert in Sherborne Abbey). Our hostess had lots of information about the local area and we were guided by her on the choice of walks.
